Stagwell acquires French digital company WNP to enhance presence in Europe

Stagwell, a marketing network known for its transformative approach, announced today the acquisition of WHAT’S NEXT PARTNERS (WNP), a leading French company specializing in brand and marketing digital consulting. This marks the first in a series of acquisitions planned by Stagwell to expand its European footprint and global reach through its Anomaly Alliance.

WNP, renowned for its data-driven strategies and creative content, will become the first co-branded member of Anomaly Alliance. The integration is expected to strengthen Anomaly’s European operations, adding to its current presence in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Berlin, and Shanghai.

Mark Penn, CEO of Stagwell, emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its technology-driven marketing approach in France and Europe. He cited company’s impressive new business growth in 2023 as evidence of the network’s proposition resonating with clients.

In addition to WNP, Stagwell recently acquired Team Epiphany and Sidekick, further demonstrating its aggressive expansion strategy. The company plans to continue this trajectory with additional acquisitions in regions ranging from Latin America to the Asia Pacific.

This acquisition follows Stagwell’s goal of delivering creative performance and enhancing marketing effectiveness for ambitious brands worldwide. The company operates in over 34 countries and is led by a team of entrepreneurs focused on harmonizing creativity with technology.

The transaction was facilitated by Lazare Consulting LLC, which acted as the exclusive strategic advisor for WNP’s mergers and acquisitions. This strategic move, as stated in a press release, reflects Stagwell’s ongoing efforts to extend its global presence.
