Motorola: features of the new Edge 30 Pro
It is the latest addition to Motorola’s edge family, available in Cosmos Blue and Stardust White colour versions. There are many features that contribute to making it a premium product: the photographic compartment, the 6.7-inch Oled display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 system-on-chip, which actually allows it to be classified as a cutting-edge mobile device.
Qualcomm’s chip gives it very high gaming capabilities, in terms of HDR images and ultra-realistic graphics. The Edge 30 Pro also has 30% more power and 25% more efficiency compared to the previous generation. This is thanks to Qualcomm’s Gpu Adreno. The artificial intelligence with which the smartphone is equipped allows users to quadruple their performance in the app, increasing both the efficiency and the battery life. With its latest model Motorola promises users a true cinematic experience, enabled by the extra large display with Full HD+ resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate, the audio system with Dolby Atmos and the double stereo speaker integrated in the body of the device, which makes the reproduction of sound even richer and more realistic, listened both in headphones or through the speaker.
As for the photographic sector, Motorola Edge 30 Pro has a whole set of qualities that have nothing to envy to those of smartphones with more prominent imaging skills. These include: a better focus with stabilization in the main camera, which plays a significant role in noise reduction, and the enhancement of night vision in the front unit. With the 50 megapixel main camera you can take photos until a maximum resolution of 8165 x 6124 pixels and record 8K videos with the Hdr10+ standard, reaching an image quality of 26 million pixels. According to the manufacturer, an extra gear is to be found in the details in terms of sharpness of ultra-wide photos in low light conditions, adjusted by the sensor that increases it in situations where the brightness is not the best. Lastly, the ultra-high-resolution 60-megapixel selfie camera, equipped with Quad-Pixel technology.
One of the most interesting features of Motorola’s latest arrival has to do with the user-experience when connecting other devices. The “ready for” function allows it to connect, both wired and wirelessly, with TV screen and Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers for gaming sessions, video calls, file or image sharing. And that is not all. In order to further enhance the experience, the Snapdragon Spaces XR Developer Platform also allows the phone to connect to Lenovo A3 ThinkReality smart glasses, with which the user can immerse themselves in augmented reality.
