LG unveils the 2026 OLED lineup with enhanced G6 and C6 models

LG has officially unveiled its new 2026 OLED TV lineup, marking a significant return to the “6” designation with the B6, C6, and G6 series, while also reviving the iconic W series, known as the Wallpaper TV. The flagship OLED evo G6 debuts with Hyper Radiant Color Technology, which combines the most advanced OLED panel currently available with LG’s proprietary processing algorithms, powered by the third-generation a11 4K AI processor. Although LG has not confirmed it officially, it is widely believed that the G6 utilizes the new Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panel from LG Display.

The G6 delivers a brightness up to 3.9 times higher than the B6 series and approximately 20% greater than the 2025 G5. The lineup will cover sizes ranging from 48 to 97 inches, although the 97-inch model will not feature the RGB Tandem panel, a decision aimed at a more home cinema-oriented use. Key innovations include support for 165 Hz, all major variable refresh rate technologies, NVIDIA G-Sync, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, as well as a new anti-reflective coating that reduces glare by up to 50% more than the G5.

The most notable update concerns the OLED C6 series. Historically recognized for its excellent price-to-performance ratio, it takes a significant step forward in 2026: the 77- and 83-inch models will also feature the Primary RGB Tandem panel. The C6 also incorporates Hyper Radiant Color Technology, the a11 processor, and the new anti-reflective treatment, while maintaining a lower brightness compared to the G6. The main difference lies in the Brightness Booster, which is Ultra on the G6 and Pro on the C6, delivering a brightness increase of three times that of the B6. Finally, the Wallpaper TV returns with the new W6 series, replacing the previous M series. The European market launch is scheduled for spring 2026.
