Nvidia and the new era of Artificial Intelligence
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia Corp., delivered a comprehensive speech at Computex 2025 in Taipei, outlining the company’s bold strategy to lead the new era of artificial intelligence—from AI supercomputers designed for individual users to the development of an ambitious AI infrastructure hub in Taiwan. Huang also provided a summary of the company’s journey, highlighting the key milestones that have marked Nvidia’s growth over the years: “We now realize that we are an AI infrastructure company. An essential infrastructure company worldwide”.
Among the most notable announcements were the introduction of the RTX 5060 GPU, a new MSI laptop equipped with the same processor, the DGX Spark AI desktop workstation, and NVLink Fusion—an innovative interconnection technology that enables other chip manufacturers to integrate Nvidia systems into their own infrastructures. Huang also revealed that Nvidia will develop an AI infrastructure dedicated to a large-scale supercomputing ecosystem in partnership with Foxconn, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (NYSE: TSM), and Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council (NSTC).
Huang also emphasized accelerated computing, highlighting Nvidia’s CUDA-X libraries as a critical component within the company’s extensive ecosystem. In the robotics sector, he introduced the Isaac Groot platform and the Newton engine, tools that enable robots to learn real-world navigation and perform human-like actions through simulation. He further announced that Nvidia’s RTX Server Pro will support DeepSeek’s R1 model. Nvidia is scheduled to release its first-quarter results on May 28, after market close.
